City of Praise is a diverse, non-denominational Kingdom community of people who wholeheartedly embrace the entire Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God. We believe it was, is, and will always be relevant for all generations.
We serve with the mission of people living their best life through spiritual, economical, social, and emotional development. This is all centered upon the Bible and God-centered relationships.
We are convinced that a relationship-driven community will achieve programs far more effectively than a program-driven community trying to achieve relationships.
We live out our purpose through the leading of the Holy Spirit and our motto, “More than a ministry, it is a way of life!”

Pastor Boston
Lead/Founding Pastor
Pastor Boston serves as our vision-casting leader and teaching pastor. He loves to read, walk, hike, travel, bowl, socializing, and laugh. He is a glad husband, father, and PawPaw.
Pastor Terance
Staff/Membership Pastor
Pastor Terance serves our ministry-tier leaders, provides membership care and teaching. He loves nature, adventures, travel, fishing, and making others laugh. He is the proud father of four and three grandkids.
Pastor Angie
Administrative Pastor
Pastor Angie oversees and serves our administration and teaching. She loves the arts, nature, movies, and a great meal with friends. Her greatest joys are being the wife to Pastor Will Jenkins and mommy to their daughter Amara.
Pastor Will
Pastoral Counselor
Pastor Will serves in pastoral counseling, referrals, and teaching. He loves fishing, traveling, consuming news & politics, action movies, and spending quality time with his wife Pastor Angie, and their daughter.

Became a church in 1983 under the name Word of Life Fellowship, Incorperated

Worshipped in 7 different venues from 1983 - 2003 while experiencing spiritual and numerical growth

Officially become City Of Praise, Incorporated in 2000 (This was purposed in our original vision objective)

Moved into our debt-free modern worship center in 2003 (The first-ever debt-free church in the entire region)

Was officially acknowledged as one of three top leading churches of the entire region in 2001 by the local media (concluded officially by public and clergy survey)

A re-vision and re-band in 2020 after a 37-year blessed history.
